Gloria's detailed planning skills stem back to her youth, from when she would help her mother plan dinner parties until she was old enough to run her own celebrations and fundraising events. In her transition to adulthood, this blossomed into a full-scale career, perfectly suited to an organization guru.
Gloria has over five years of experience in multiple sectors of the event industry and brings this knowledge and expertise to every event. With background experience in rentals, catering and venue coordination, she has truly made herself a "Jill of all trades" in the industry. Gloria leaves no stone unturned when it comes to planning events and prides herself on providing a first-rate customer experience.
Gloria is a Certified Wedding Coordinator from the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC) and has a postgraduate honours certificate in Event Management from the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. With an undergraduate degree in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences, Gloria has also been well educated in food and nutrition; combined with her love for cuisine and catering industry know-how, Gloria is a passionate and sympathetic expert on accommodating wedding couples or guests with dietary needs and restrictions.
Gloria is now booking for the 2018/2019 wedding season and beyond.
Traditions are just that: traditions. Some of us prefer to dance to the beat of our own drum. While Historia understands the place of tradition (we do plan weddings after all), we wholeheartedly embrace the impact of individuality and the wonder that uniqueness can present in the form of celebration.
Authenticity has two fundamental meanings as one of our core values. Transparency with our clients is key, so open and reliable communication is a regular practice and of utmost importance. Equally important is maintaining 'awe-thenticity' - that our events feel truthful to the character of our clients and convey their personal narrative while instilling wonder and amazement in their guests.
